Andrea Bode was born and raised in the Midwest between Michigan and Minnesota. She recently moved south to central Texas to join her significant other and their blended family of four children. During the day, Andrea is a full-time social worker for a Minnesota-based agency but after work, she enjoys hobbies that include hiking, traveling, painting, reading, and getting together with family.

Alicia Drier is a wordsmith with over two decades of writing experience as an English teacher, marketing assistant, podcast cohost, and blogger. When she isn’t working at Thred or eating bread, she is hiking with her family or checking out local coffee shops in the Indianapolis area.

Angelo Blancaflor is a professional evangelism trainer and coach with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA. His role is to create evangelism resources for Gen-Z college students and help bridge justice-centered  evanglistic best practices across the movement. He graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and is an avid sci-fi reader that loves big space battles.

Brian Altevogt is a small business owner in the Ann Arbor area.  Formerly, he spent nearly two decades as Professor of Music, focusing on conducting, music education, and church music.  Brian and Lisa have raised four children and are active supporters of Lutheran education.  Brian loves spending time with Lisa, coaching basketball, woodworking, reading, sharing great music with his children, and connecting with former students.

Rev. Dr. Chad Lakies is the regional director for North America at Lutheran Hour Ministries and provides leadership and operational management for the North America region. His work with LHM is centered around proclaiming the Gospel to significant numbers of non-churched people, effectively using mass media to spread the Gospel, and helping the church become more outreach focused by empowering it to share the Gospel at more personal levels. His former life as a non-believer provides exceedingly relevant experience for thinking about how to engage with our friends and neighbors outside the Kingdom of God.

Christina Schuetz is a writer, speaker, and backyard chicken enthusiast. A lifelong follower of Jesus, she began her career as a high school English teacher and now enjoys spending her time writing on her own. She is married to her high school sweetheart and mama to three beautiful children, one who went to be with Jesus at ten months old. She dedicates her writing to late her daughter, Sylvia, who taught her just how good God is even when life isn't.

Cindy Koch lives in Ventura, CA with her husband, who is a Lutheran Pastor, and is a mother to five children. She earned her M.A. in exegetical theology from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and now writes, speaks, and teaches on theological topics. Cindy has published Woman: The Forgotten Story and Daughter: Our Story Remembered, she hosts Family Style Theology Podcast, coaches and directs a Crossfit Kids Program, and homeschools her children.

Don Everts has been reading, learning, teaching, writing, and talking about Jesus for almost 3 decades. He has published a number of books about Jesus and has engaged in ministry on college campuses and in the local church. He currently lives in a 135-year-old Victorian in Springfield, MO, and is studying screenwriting.

Ella Kerr is a full-time writer, part-time surfer, and unapologetic spirit seeker on the Big Island of Hawaii. She has lived around the world, from Cape Town to Kilimanjaro, and enjoys helping others share their stories.
